Ikaron, formerly Skippur and Skipper, was delivered in 2000 and she is our first fully Lloyds accredited yacht built. She is a modern 30m aluminium cruise sloop, designed for effortless sailing at the touch of a button. Between her elegant bow and Retroussé stern are numerous amenities and a lot of technology, including no fewer than eleven captive winches operated from a single console.

Hoek Design Naval Architects has taken care of the design of both its exterior and interior and is also responsible for its engineering.

Interior

Ikaron can accommodate up to eight guests in three guest cabins, including the master suite. In addition to the master suite, there are 2 double cabins on board, both with a pullman bed as an extra sleeping place. In addition, she can accommodate four crew members.

Her playfully arranged interior with various dining and sitting areas has classic woodwork, which creates a warm and attractive appearance.

Technique

Powered by an MTU (6R183TE62) 375 hp diesel engine, this beautiful sailing yacht can achieve a top speed of 12 knots and a cruising speed of 11 knots, giving her a range of 4500 nautical miles, on full tanks with a capacity of 11,200 liters. Her water tanks can store 5,800 liters of water.

Ikaron has an aluminium displacement hull and superstructure with aluminium decks. Her Retroussé stern features a fold-out bathing platform for easy access to the water. She is built to the rules and regulations of the Lloyds Register Classification Society and conforms to MCA standards.
